09.07.08 – Capstone Discovery Begins
Capstone Discovery will be our weekly meeting prior to launch. We will use this time to train and teach missionaries of our community. This is a weekly meeting that will bring us together in fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and worship. We will begin to DISCOVER what Capstone is and what it is going to be.
Capstone Discovery will be at the Fountain Inn Activities Center [ 610 Fairview St /Fountain Inn ]. We will get started at 10:30am and finished up with Capstone Discovery around 11:45am. We will have a fun and safe area for your children: Nursery/ Toddlers (Pebble Beach) and Grade School Students (Camp Rock). We invite the entire family to come learn Capstone Church.
*** Capstone Discovery will be every Sunday until Jan 2009.
Commuity Events
Capstone’s mission is to Transform people and Impact a city. We believe this happens through relationships and getting involved with people’s lives. During our Discovery period we will be doing monthly Community Events to introduce Capstone to the community and begin to form relationships. Check back at a later time to see specfic times and dates for Community Events
10.08 – Community Events
Aunt Het Day: October 4th
Capstone will be volunteering in the afternoon during the celebration of Aunt Het Day in downtown Fountain Inn. We will be taking part in numberous activities and have a booth sharing with the community about Capstone. Freaky Friday: October 31st
Halloween falls on a Friday this year, and it is sure to be a Freaky Friday indeed. Capstone will be joining the rest of the community of Fountain Inn by taking part in Freaky Friday on Main. We will be showing Disney's "Freaky Friday" on our inflatable screen downtown after the concert by the fountain. Capstone will be giving away popcorn and drinks for the movie.
12.08 – Community Event
12.21.08 – Christmas Preview Service
Capstone will be having a preview service 12.21.08. The purpose of this service is to have a gathering before our offical launch in January and so people in the community can get a taste of Capstone. The time and place of this service has yet to be determined
